    Marc Cloosterman

    As an experienced and passionate brand expert, Marc helped VIM Group develop the discipline of brand implementation and become a fully-fledged business in the communication sector.

    During his decades of experience, he has personally advised and worked with an extensive list of leading brands, including Airbus Group, IKEA, DHL, TUI Travel, Deutsche Telekom, Skoda and ING Group.

    His list of professional achievements includes founding the European Association of Communication Directors’ Brand Management working group and has been a member of judging panels of various international brand awards.

    Marc speaks three languages (Dutch, English and German) and regularly gives talks to practitioners and academics. He has also written extensively about brand implementation.

    Laurens Hoekstra

    Laurens is an accomplished expert in the field of brand management and implementation, with more than 15 years’ experience in the brand business. He has worked with big leading companies such as British Gas, ING Group, SkyTeam, JDE, Belfius and KPN and he regularly takes on an active role as part of client steering committees.

    He also gives lectures about brand management and implementation on a regular basis and founded the brand management course in the Netherlands. He loves to share his knowledge of brand implementation with the rest of the world.

    Alongside his work for the VIM Group, Laurens is also director of the Amstelclub, advisory board member of the Big Improvement Day (BIG) and ambassador of the Ubuntu Talent Organisation.

    With over 25 years of industry experience, Jo is an expert on all things brand-related.

    She has extensive knowledge of brand strategy, brand governance, design and marketing along with a considerable understanding of how to implement brand change with applied expertise across all brand touch points.

    Jo has in-depth technical, operational and commercial skills and has worked alongside an impressive array of clients, including GE, Aston Martin, Natwest, Accenture, GfK, Tesco and Honda.

    With her years of employment as a teacher and researcher with the university, and the development of brand management services she helped the brand management domain moving forward.

    Cristina has over 20 years of experience working in the Design and Brand industry, fulfilling a broad variety of roles in her career, from design and production to programme management.

    Having driven 2D and 3D programmes, Cristina has experience with both physical and digital brand touch points. Also Cristina’s background working for a multinational retailer helper her build leadership and stakeholder management skills.

    Working alongside very talented and inspiring brand experts and strategists that helped her to further build her knowledge around the customer journey and brand experience.
    Clients include Exxon, McDonalds, Harley-Davidson, Dewalt, Natwest, RBS, Mercedes-Benz and Christian Aid.

    Tammo has a background in Industrial Design (textiles, interior and architecture) and over 25 years’ experience with brand and brand related applications.

    His years of experience supporting all manner of clients and being imbedded in all their various company cultures has given him the opportunity to develop a range of tools allowing him to be able to work on every level from strategic to operational.
